If you’re throwing the kids a festive Halloween party, you don’t need to go overboard. There are some great decorative and easy ways to make the party look awesome without breaking the bank. I love theming food items for Halloween too – it’s relatively simple to do with the right products. This Non-Alcoholic Halloween Party Punch recipe is budget-friendly, a little gory and a whole bunch of fun for the kiddos.
Non-Alcoholic Halloween Party Punch Recipe For Kids
As my kids got older and started loving Halloween even more, I wanted to come up with fresh ideas that they would love. They want a tad bit of spooky without being frightened to death. A little bit of gore goes a long way and that was the idea behind this punch (plus, it’s super tasty too). That’s what makes Halloween-themed food so much fun.
When To Serve Your Halloween Punch
Obviously, it’s the perfect party bunch and makes a big batch. I’ve also served it for Halloween school fundraisers, fall festivals, after-school and part of a Halloween themed dinner. Kids are always asking for seconds and they love the toppings that really “complete” the Halloween punch.
What To Serve Your Non-Alcoholic Halloween Punch In
Punch bowls vary so much and you don’t necessarily need one. When you’ve got a punch bowl, you can either serve the guests or they can serve themselves. Trifle bowls work as punch bowls too (which is what I used here). I set up our Halloween punch in the trifle bowl and then had individual servings ready to go, with the toppings. I just made up more as guests grabbed their punch.
Finding Some Fun Toppings For Your Halloween Party Punch
The kicker to make this punch even more awesome for Halloween is finding some fun toppings. You can find some candy toppings at your local box store or off of Amazon. I used candy eyeballs and gummy worms, but here are several ideas:
You can add these fun toppings to the top of your party punch and place a few extras on each individual cup. For the dripping blood effect, I use Wilton Blood Red Gel – that’s what really makes this recipe! It looks so cool on the edge of the clear plastic party cups.
What To Serve Your Non-Alcoholic Halloween Party Punch With
You can’t have a Halloween party without some munchies to accompany the punch! Keep it super easy and simple, so you can enjoy the party with your kids. Most of these ideas can be made ahead of time and all of them are festive for the spooky season.
