Patriotic Kids Dessert: Cute Flag Marshmallow Pops

4th of July in Atlanta is a huge celebration before we go back-to-school. Yep – we start back that early. It’s like the last party for the kids  and we love to go all-out. Our 4th of July tradition has always been to host a neighborhood cook-out and watch fireworks after dinner. We always make a special patriotic kids dessert and these Flag Marshmallow Pops are a big hit.

They are easy to put together, look cute and the kids think they’re awesome. Even the adults will want to try their own pop. The best part is how the recipe doesn’t heat up your kitchen. I hate baking in the summer, don’t you?

If you’re creating a dessert table, consider paring this recipe with patriotic dessert lasagna OR red, white and blue cupcakes.
