Yes, the food at Great Wolf Lodge is worth it for your family vacation. There’s so much more to a Great Wolf Lodge family vacation than just the water park. You’ve got to feed your pack, and the good news is, there’s plenty of Great Wolf Lodge food options available. The resort prides itself on food quality, with plenty of options (and price ranges). Plus, the resorts are nut-free properties with gluten-free options. From breakfast to dinner, here’s your complete guide to dining at Great Wolf Lodge.

What Dining Options Are at Great Wolf Lodge?
Famished families will discover a truly remarkable array of culinary delights at Great Wolf. Our family is never hungry when we stay at our local Great Wolf Lodge in Georgia. With eight unique eateries that range from the farm-to-fork elevated dining experience at Barnwood to satisfying sweet cravings with ice cream treats at Wood’s End Creamery, everyone is happy.
When you work up an appetite in one of the almost 100,000-square-foot water parks, there are quick-service options that allow your family more time in the water. Guests are never more than a few feet away from a delicious meal, snack, or treat.
Is Great Wolf Lodge Nut-free & Allergy-friendly?

For guests with food allergies, all kitchen facilities at Great Wolf Lodge are peanut and tree-nut-free. The culinary team at the resorts is incredibly well-versed in common food allergies and dietary restrictions, and can accommodate guests’ needs as necessary. To reduce risk, their in-house kitchens don’t use or serve peanut or peanut‑based items.
The chefs have separate allergy‑free prep areas. They use clean utensils, cutting boards, and pans when needed, and often have the chef involved directly to minimize cross‑contact. Guests who wish to discuss their dietary needs before their stay are encouraged to email the culinary team at their respective resort.
For guests who want a gluten-free family vacation, there are delicious options, such as GF chicken tenders, GF pizza crusts, and items at the breakfast buffet. In addition, cooking styles can be adapted upon request (e.g., using clean pans or separate fryers where possible, or fresh oil).
Great Wolf Lodge Restaurants Dining Guide

Families can begin their day at Campfire Kitchen, featuring an extensive buffet of farm-fresh eggs, Applewood smoked bacon, signature wolf-shaped waffles, and fresh fruits and berries. The buffet transforms for dinner service with a variety of meats, pastas and salads, along with kid favorites like mac-and-cheese and chicken tenders.
Feeding an entire pack doesn’t get easier than at Hungry as a Wolf Pizza, where hot, hand-tossed pizza is waiting for families looking to refuel after fun inside the water park. Guests can feed their inner wolf with a variety of options from a classic cheese pie or meat lover’s delight featuring premium Italian sausage and pepperoni to tasty sandwiches and fresh salads.
Timbers Tacos will offer traditional Tex-Mex fare, including signature nachos, soups, salads, and a la carte street tacos. Timbers Tacos also features signature margaritas on tap, Mexican beers, and specialties such as churros, Mexican Coke, and horchata.
A perfect way to end a day of adventure is a pit stop at Barnwood, featuring an elevated menu of seasonal offerings in a rustic-themed setting. Barnwood also offers an extensive menu of signature cocktails, wines, and craft beers for adults. In my opinion, it’s definitely the star of the Great Wolf Lodge food options.
Can you eat at the water park at Great Wolf Lodge?

Sometimes hunger just can’t wait until the wolf pups towel off from the water park, which is why guests love Buckets Incredible Craveables, located just steps from the slides and attractions found inside the water park. Premium burgers, hearty sandwiches, and fresh salads round out this family-friendly menu, with a variety of seasonal specialities like delicious pumpkin spice milkshakes in the Fall and Jingle Juice for the winter holidays.
Also, poolside is The Watering Hole, offering refreshing soft drinks and iced teas – plus an extensive roster of blended drinks and ice-cold beers for parents. I love that it’s a poolside bar, centrally located in the water park. Our kids are old enough to enjoy the slides on their own, while we watch them and enjoy a cocktail. If you want a non-alcoholic option, opt for one of the craft mocktails.
I love that all of the Great Wolf Lodge menus are updated seasonally. Be on the lookout for seasonal menu items during holiday events like Howl-O-Ween and SnowLand.
Great Wolf Lodge Coffee Shops, Snacks, and Desserts
If you’re looking for a quick bite to bring back to your room, the best on-the-go option for guests is Freshwoods Market. It’s a small marketplace featuring ready-to-go meals that you can enjoy in the comfort of your guest room. Highlighted items include fresh salads, sandwiches, and more. It’s my go-to pick for late-night bites when cravings hit.
For a quick start to the day – or a delicious afternoon treat – many Great Wolf Lodge locations have Dunkin’. Everything from classic donuts, breakfast sandwiches, and bagels to more is available at the 3rd-party locations. It’s also the best Great Wolf Lodge coffee shop option, since they serve Dunkin’ coffee any time of the day.
When your little wolf has a sweet tooth, head to Wood’s End Creamery where there’s ice cream cones, sundaes, and milkshakes, along with other confectionary delights.
The two newest 3rd-party additions available at other Great Wolf Lodge locations include FatBurger and Pretzel Maker at select locations.
