How To Store Leftovers

This Frozen Strawberry Delight needs to be kept frozen. I pull it out to serve it and immediately place it back into the freezer. Do not keep it on the countertop. For the best freshness, enjoy the dessert within 3 months of making it. Place the dessert in the back of the freezer where temperatures are more stable. Add more sliced strawberries, for garnish, as needed.

How To Make Frozen Strawberry Delight Dessert

Make a space in your freezer for a 9×13 baking pan

Using a food processor, finely crush Oreo cookies, pulsing about 10 times or until completely crushed. Add melted butter and process for five seconds.

Crushing the Golden Oreo

Mix well with a spoon to make sure the cookies and butter are combined well. Pour into 9×13 baking pan and using the back of spoon, press the crust into the bottom of the pan. Pop the pan into the freezer for 10 mins.

Pressing the Golden Oreo into the bottom of baking dish

Carefully spread about 1-1/2 tubs of ice cream onto the top of the crust. It helps to work in scoops, placing them on the crust and then pressing down, not really spreading out, but just placing scoops next to each other and then pressing them together to fill in all the spaces.

Spreading the strawberry ice cream layer.

Top with whipped topping. Freeze for at least an hour before serving.

Top with frozen whipped topping.

When ready to serve, top with fresh strawberries. Store any leftovers covered and in the freezer.

Top with strawberries for garnish
