Kid’s Party Dessert: Unicorn Rice Krispies Treat

There’s just something magical about unicorns and kids love them! They’re the hottest trend right now and young girls are asking for unicorn themed birthday parties. I think the trend is super cute and this Unicorn Rice Krispies Treat dessert is perfect for a party!

They’re made with the limited edition unicorn Fruit Loops cereal. You can find this special box at any mainstream grocery store. Of course, you can substitute regard Fruit Loops cereal as well. 

To top off each dessert, I’ve added icing and fun unicorn sprinkles. The unicorn trend is all about being fun and bright. These taste delicious and look pretty too!

These treats would look awesome on a dessert table or you can wrap them individually as a party favor. Grab the kids and make them together. I know they’ll be big hit amongst the younger crowd!

How To Make Unicorn Rice Krispies Treat Dessert

What You’ll Need:

• 7 Cups of Kellogg’s Unicorn Fruit Loop Cereal
• 1-10 oz Bag Mini Marshmallows
• 3 ½ Tbsp Butter (1/2 tbsp is to butter the 9×13 pan)
• Wilton’s Unicorn Mix Sprinkles
• 1/4 Cup White Chocolate Discs

In a large pot over medium heat, melt 3 tablespoons of butter and add the marshmallows.

Stir constantly until the marshmallows are melted and incorporated with the butter. Remove pot from heat and add the cereal.

Quickly mix together and pour into a buttered 9×13 pan and spread evenly. 

You can use non-stick cooking spray as well! Melt the white chocolate discs according to package directions and place in a sandwich size baggie. 

Snip the corner and drizzle the chocolate over the fruit loops, then sprinkle with the unicorn sprinkle mix.

Let cool and cut into squares to enjoy!

Store in an air-tight container after serving. They make great party favors as well, if you wrap them in clear gift bags.
