Thinking about purchasing new family vehicle? Here is my review of the Mazda CX-5. I was given the vehicle, from Dirive Shop USA, for a week to test. All opinions are my own.

The Mazda CX-5: All Around Family Vehicle

As our family is about to grow again by 2 feet, I’ve been on the hunt to find a second vehicle that works for me as a “work from home” Mom. We’ll need more space, a smooth drive for those baby naps and the luxury extras I want as a Mom.

I think I’ve found it all, as a Mazda Mommy, with their 2016 CX-5. I was given the opportunity to test drive it for a week and it meshed beautifully with our family’s lifestyle. Here are my favorite aspects of Mazda’s CX-5!

Plenty of Back Seat Room

With my son’s huge toddler carseat and a second carseat about to be installed, I need a car with a large backseat. I was impressed that I could easily fit both carseats in AND give my son the leg room he needs now. I could even put the center cup console down, in between their carseats. That makes it so easy on me when I need to grab and empty bottle or disperse more snacks!

It’s a Smooth City Ride

We live in the suburbs of Atlanta, where traffic builds up at least twice a day. I could comfortably drive around town in the smooth ride that the Mazda CX-5 provided. They’ve provided so much technology to help make the ride smooth and safe. The technology senses your steering and adjusts the grip on the round. I also loved the blind spot detection feature that helps you safely change lanes in traffic. Everyone in Atlanta needs that!

The Storage Space is Excellent

On top of the huge carseats, I bring along strollers, diaper bags and booster seats. They usually stay in the vehicle at all times so I don’t forget them and I have to place the “extras”, like groceries, around it.

I had no problem piling everything into the car at one time. We made several big grocery store trips and the bags fit in beautifully around my baby gear. There wasn’t a need to put anything near my Son either.

The Car Boasts Aesthetically Pleasing Features

My week long test drive was in their Deep Crystal Blue Mica color and I LOVED it. I instantly noticed the little flecks of sparkle against the sunlight. Then the light leather interior was comfortable and beautiful. Even the center navigation and console was well designed. It’s got the luxury features that Moms want!

I love the joystick technology that they provide. It allows you to switch from navigation to music or a hands-free phone call easily. It made me feel safer, while easily letting me change option on the touch screen.

Mazda CX5 Review

I truly enjoyed the Mazda CX-5 and I highly recommend it for a growing family, like ours. It met all of our basic vehicle needs and then excelled way beyond that with tons of extra features. Definitely head to your nearest Mazda dealership and give it a test drive!

I had the CX-5 for a week last year and I loved driving it. My sons thought it was a really cool car and my husband really liked it as well.
