My family is originally from California and I have fond memories of driving along the coast. I remember it like it was yesterday: the wind in my hair, the smell of the salt water, sounds of the waves and the warm sun beating down on me. California is my favorite state because, with a few hours of driving, you can experience different cities, climates and terrain changes. From the ocean to the desert and the big cities, California has something to offer everyone.

That would be a super fun trip! I'd want at least 2 nights in each place so that's a long visit but would be AMAZING.
