Easy desserts are the best. When not much effort is required for a delicious dessert, it’s dangerous – because I can make them more often. No-bake pies are one of those easy desserts that I love to make. This Snickers Ice Cream Pie recipe is one of our family’s favorites. It has the creamy caramel, nutty and chocolate flavors you love!
This recipe is actually very similar to the Frozen Brandy Alexander Pie recipe that I make. I started to think about the base of that pie. It’s the perfect base to add your favorite flavors too. Somehow Snickers candy bars caught my attention and I wanted to add them into the pie base. I knew it would be perfect with a caramel and chocolate topping.
Of course, you can make your own pie crust from scratch. I like to keep it easy. Just grab a chocolate wafer store-bought pie crust. Make the filling and freeze it! It can’t be much simpler than that, right? Everyone loves this dessert and I like how easy it is.
I bring this pie to BBQ’s, pool parties and graduation parties. It’s great during the hot summer months when you something that’s light, cool and refreshing. When I make this recipe for a crowd, I just double it and make two pies! The only problem is how quickly it disappears.

Tips For Making Snickers Ice Cream Pie
You’ve got to love recipes that don’t make a mess of too many dishes! This Snickers Ice Cream Pie uses a store-bought chocolate wafer pie crust. However, if you want to make a homemade chocolate wafer pie crust you can. The only tool you’ll need a large mixing spoon and mixing bowl. That’s it! It doesn’t get any easier than that.
When To Make Snickers Ice Cream Pie
Even though this pie comes together easily, you’ll need time for the pie to set in the freezer. That’s a minimum of four hours. I like to make this pie the night before an event or party and let it sit in the freezer, ready to go. It’s a great pie to make during the hot summer months. Just be sure to serve it immediately and not to let the pie sit out and melt.
How To Store Leftovers
Any leftovers can remain in the pie crust for ease. Just cover the pie with plastic wrap and place in the freezer. Store the pie in the back of the freezer where temperatures are more stable. You don’t want the pie to melt as the temperatures vary with the freezer opening. For the best freshness, enjoy the pie within a month of making it.
Recipe Variations
I know this is a Snickers Ice Cream Pie, but feel free to use your favorite candy bars! Milky Way and Twix are also great candy bars that work well. I’ve also made this pie with Reece’s Peanut Butter Cups. Follow the same directions and use your favorite toppings. The pie will need to be set in the freezer no matter what type of candy bar you use.
The other variation is changing the ice cream flavor! Use a chocolate ice cream, vanilla bean or caramel ice cream flavor. As long as you make with pie with softened ice cream, it’s going to be delicious!
