How To Make Your DIY Elf Ears: Pixar “Onward” Craft
What You’ll Need:
- Blue Card Stock (Two Different Shades)
- Glue Stick
- Scissors
- Clear Tape
- Pencil
- Pink Crayon
To make your elf ears, start by folding the lighter blue card stock paper in half. Use a pencil to draw two half circles (for the ear shape) and a straight line connecting both. Cut the ear, so you’ll have two total.
Next, place that inner lighter shade of blue ear on top of the darker blue card stock. Trace the same shape, just slightly bigger with your pencil. Cut it out.
Use a glue stick to place glue on the back side of the lighter shade of blue inner ear. Glue it onto the darker blue outer ear.
Use your pink crayon to draw a half crescent moon shape in the center of the ear. Next, cut two long 1″ strips of blue card stock for the headband piece.
Tape one ear onto the middle of both pieces of the paper strips. This is the beginning of the headband. Measure it to your child’s head. Trim any extra. Tape the second side.
