Watermelon is the perfect Summer fruit. It’s in season, juicy and delicious on a hot Summer day. I like to buy firm, ripe watermelons that still have the seeds and, ideally, I try to buy organic because non-organic melons are often exposed to pesticides. Watermelon helps to flush bloat and it hydrates you. This Non-Alcoholic Watermelon Cocktail is a great way to get the nutritional benefits of watermelon and detox your system. I love to start my day with a big glass of it during the Summer.

When you purchase watermelon, it lasts 5 days refrigerated, once cut. To you safely cut a whole watermelon, I recommend purchasing a kit that includes a watermelon slicer, corer and scoop from Amazon (affiliate link). It makes the process quicker and less messy. You can make a big batch of this drink and enjoy it throughout the week. There is nothing artificial in it, so you’re just receiving the natural detox benefits of the ingredients. Since it’s natural, the kids will even love sipping on it.
Make sure you’ve got a blender – I recommend the Ninja Professional Blender (affiliate link) – and you’re good to go. Enjoy!
