When To Make These Dessert Bars

I’ll make these Chocodile Dessert Bars during the holiday season, but they’re fantastic any time of the year. These are great to take on the go because they transport easily. Just keep them away from direct heat. I bring them to potlucks all the time and everyone asks me for the recipe! There’s just something everyone loves about PB & chocolate together!

How To Keep Your Chocolate Peanut Butter Dessert Bars Fresh

After the chocolate has set on your Crunchy Chocolate Peanut Butter Dessert Bars, you’ll want to slice them. I keep mine in the refrigerator, especially during the winter months when the house is warmer. Either keep them in the baking dish or transfer the sliced bars into an airtight food storage container.

These bars will stay fresh much longer than a cookie. For best freshness, enjoy the bars within 2-3 weeks of making them! They keep so well in the fridge. Just allow the bars to thaw to room temperature for a few minutes before enjoying.

Can You Freeze This Dessert?

Yes! Freeze these dessert bars by placing them in a freezer bag. They will freeze for up to 2 months. Let the dessert bars thaw completely out on the countertop. This might take several hours. Once thawed, they’re ready to be enjoyed again!
