Do you love everything about Chick-Fil-A too? Living in the south means we’re eating Chick-Fil-A several times a week and I’m not complaining. However, my wallet would prefer if I cut back a little bit. This Copycat Chick-Fil-A Frosted Lemonade recipe tastes just like the real deal and saves our family a few bucks. We used to go through the drive-through and order 4 of them for a summer snack. Now we’re enjoying our own at-home version.
My kids just love everything about Chick-Fil-A Frosted Lemonade. If you’ve never tried it before, it’s sweet and tart. It’s everything you love about their lemonade, but with the thickness of a milkshake. It’s lighter and feels like a cup of sunshine in your glass. Frozen Lemonade makes the perfect afternoon treat.

Making Homemade Lemonade VS. Store-Bought
So if you’re really wanting a genuine copycat, you can start from absolute scratch by making your own Copycat Chick-Fil-A Lemonade. As much as I love it on it’s own, I don’t think it’s necessary when you’re making it into a frosted version.
Using store-bought lemonade works well for your frosted drink. For this particular recipe, I used Simply Lemonade. I love that I can purchase a big jug to keep in our refrigerator. I use it for all sort of summer recipes. It’s delicious in this frosted lemonade recipe.
How To Make A Skinny Chick-Fil-A Frosted Lemonade (Less Sugar)
If you’re watching your sugar, you can make a few substitutions and still end up with a great frosted lemonade. Replace regular lemonade for a sugar-free version. Use a carb smart or low sugar version of vanilla ice cream too. I’ve tried the drink both ways and they’re both delicious.

- Add lemonade and vanilla ice cream into a blender.
- Blend on a low speed for 1 minute until creamy.
- Serve immediately and garnish with fresh lemon slices.
- You can use homemade lemonade in place of store-bought
- Want to cut back on sugar? Use a sugar-free lemonade and a low-carb ice cream.
