One of the luxuries of being an Atlanta local is being near the original Chick-Fil-A and going on their Chick-Fil-A Home Tour. It’s an amazing experience, where you get to learn all about the menu inspiration and the company’s humble beginnings. I highly recommend going on the tour! It’s where I learned how popular the Frozen Lemonade has become.

Making Homemade Lemonade VS. Store-Bought

So if you’re really wanting a genuine copycat, you can start from absolute scratch by making your own Copycat Chick-Fil-A Lemonade. As much as I love it on it’s own, I don’t think it’s necessary when you’re making it into a frosted version.

Using store-bought lemonade works well for your frosted drink. For this particular recipe, I used Simply Lemonade. I love that I can purchase a big jug to keep in our refrigerator. I use it for all sort of summer recipes. It’s delicious in this frosted lemonade recipe.

How To Make A Skinny Chick-Fil-A Frosted Lemonade (Less Sugar)

If you’re watching your sugar, you can make a few substitutions and still end up with a great frosted lemonade. Replace regular lemonade for a sugar-free version. Use a carb smart or low sugar version of vanilla ice cream too. I’ve tried the drink both ways and they’re both delicious.

What You’ll Need From The Grocery Store:

  • Fresh Lemons
  • Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Store-bought Lemonade
