Easy 4th Of July Kids Snack Idea
We love getting all of our cul-de-sac kids together to play and watch fireworks on 4th of July. Since the summer days are longer, it’s a great time to let kids be kids. Of course, somebody has to supply the snacks! These cute Ice Cream Cone Rice Krispies are such a fun 4th of July kids snack idea. Serve them before fireworks or as a fun dessert option for a BBQ.

How To Make These Cones – Cute 4th Of July Kids Snack Idea
If you want to play around with the colors, try purchasing the patriotic blend of Rice Krispies cereal too! It usually shows up in the grocery stores around mid June.
In a large microwave safe bowl, combine your marshmallows and butter and heat for 1-2 minutes until the marshmallows get puffy and the butter is melted.
Mix in the Rice Krispies cereal and let cool in bowl. Heat the candy melts in a microwave safe bowl for 3-4 minutes on 50% power, stirring every 30 seconds until melted. Hold the cones upside down and dip into the melted chocolate, shaking off any excess.
Immediately coat the chocolate with 4th of July nonpareil sprinkles and place in the freezer to harden. Scoop out a handful of Rice Krispies and press into and into the cones, shaping each one like a scoop of ice cream. Be careful not to press too hard.
Carefully press done more 4th of July sprinkles onto the top and enjoy!

Instructions
