Located just 30 miles north of Atlanta, Woodstock, Georgia is a vibrant and fast-growing city known for its walkable downtown, thriving arts community, and an impressive culinary scene. This September, one of its most anticipated annual events returns to showcase all of that and more: Taste of Woodstock!

2025 Taste of Woodstock Details
Now in its 14th year, Taste of Woodstock will take place on Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 5 PM to 9 PM at the scenic Woodstock Arts Event Green (111 Elm Street). The festival brings together locals and metro Atlanta area visitors to celebrate the best of Woodstock’s diverse food culture.
Presented by Visit Woodstock, this free-entry event features a record-breaking number of participating local restaurants serving sample-sized portions of their best dishes—ranging from savory appetizers and entrees to sweet desserts.
Tasting tickets are required to sample food and can be purchased in advance starting Monday, August 18, at the Woodstock Visitors Center (8588 Main Street) or on-site the day of the event.

Woodstock’s Culinary Scene Will Be on Display
Taste of Woodstock is a direct reflection of the city’s evolving culinary identity, bringing together the diverse range of restaurants and chefs. They’ve truly fueled Woodstock’s dining boom in recent years. As new eateries and internationally inspired menus have flourished downtown, the festival has grown to include a record number of participants. Festival guests are invited to taste the best of the Woodstock’s creative culinary scene.
Attendees can vote for their favorite dish in the coveted People’s Choice Award, while a panel of judges will select winners in Best Appetizer, Best Entrée, and Best Dessert. All winners will be announced on the main stage during the event.

Taste of Woodstock Supports A Local Cause
More than a food festival, the event benefits a good cause: proceeds support the Woodstock High School Band Boosters, helping fund the school’s band program.
“Taste of Woodstock began as a fundraiser for the local band program, and has gradually transitioned into what it is today—a showcase of our incredible culinary scene here in the city,” said Sylvia Breitbart, Program Manager with Visit Woodstock GA.
To complement the food and community spirit, guests can enjoy live performances throughout the evening by the Woodstock High School Band and other talented local musicians.

Whether you’re a longtime resident or exploring Woodstock for the first time, the festival offers a perfect evening of food, fun, and local pride in one of North Georgia’s most welcoming small cities.
