We just got home from another magical vacation, at Disney Social Media Moms Celebration. Some great memories were made, but I’ll certainly miss the great times and family fun. When I’m in-between Disney vacations, I like to spread a little magic around our home. These adorable Mickey Fridge Magnets are a fun way to add your favorite friends around the house. With a few crafts supplies, they are simple to make and older kids can certainly help out. If you’re not feeling Mickey and Minnie, you could purchase Disney Princess or Toy Story card stock instead. Either way, you can’t go wrong!
Bonus – these are also perfect to use on a Disney Cruise stateroom door.
DIY Disney Mickey Fridge Magnets
What You’ll Need:
- Mickey Mouse Scrap Paper (Like This Pack)
- Red Polka Dot and Yellow Paper
- 1” Clear Glass Circles (I Used These)
- 1/2”-3/4” Circle Magnets (Like This Pack)
- E6000 glue (Purchase HERE)
- Scissors
- Pencil
Trace your clear glass circle onto your scrapbook paper right overtop Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, red polka dot and yellow card paper.
Carefully cut out your circles with scissors. This might be a great part for the adults to help, if the kids are making their own.
Place a small amount of glue onto the bottom center of your bezel, be careful not to use too much glue.
Press your Mickey circle onto the bottom so you can see the design through the top of the glass circle.
Place a good sized dab of glue onto a magnet, press the bottom of your Mickey Mouse glass circle on top of the glue/magnet.
Let your magnet dry overnight. Not intended for kids play due to a choking hazard. Please keep out of the hands of young children.
