Paddlefish at Disney Springs Review
Our family was given a complimentary meal to experience Disney Springs Dining, but all opinions are my own.
Dine on an actual paddleboat that sits on Lake Buena Vista as you enjoy one of Orlando’s best restaurants. Disney Springs dining has a plethora of options, but if you’re looking for fresh seafood, Paddlefish is #1. Orlando Magazine readers voted this spot “Best Seafood Restaurant” in 2018 and it’s absolutely lives up to that title.

The Atmosphere
Paddlefish has some of the best panoramic views at Disney Springs. It’s the perfect spot to watch the sunset or enjoy a cocktail on the rooftop bar. It’s a casual spot that’s family-friendly. I love the large windows of the interior dining room that makes it great for people watching.
While the menu has some fancy-schmancy seafood favorites, like the fresh Maine Lobster, you can sit back and relax in comfort.
Paddlefish offers a lunch, dinner and brunch menu. They also have a great kid’s menu that features favorites that older kids would like as well as the youngsters.
Menu Highlights
Fan favorites include the table side Lobster Guacamole, Ceviche and King Crab Legs. My husband and I both tried land and sea options to get a full perspective of the menu. Each table starts with fresh bread and whipped cinnamon butter.
For my entree, I ordered the Shrimp-n-Grits. The creamy texture of the cheddar grits were perfectly balanced with the spice of the fresh gulf shrimp. There was definitely a little heat and kick to the flavor without being overpowering. Our waitress said this was also a popular option to split as an appetizer.
As for our “land” option, my Husband ordered The Burger which was served on a brioche bun with 9 oz of meat and pimento cheese. A generous portion of steak fries accompanied the burger.
For our side, we ordered the baked Mac-n-Cheese. It’s topped with a bread crumb crust. Our kids also ate it as a main course for them. It’s a large serving. I suggest ordering several sides and enjoying them family-style.
Drink Highlights
Of all the Disney Springs Dining spots, Paddlefish offers a great selection of craft cocktails that can’t be missed. They just debuted an adult push pop known as Buzz Pop Cocktails. We were told they serve over 250 nightly and they’re extremely popular amongst guests dining in or just stopping by.
They have a Caribbean Breeze Sorbet that features rum and a Lemon Drop Martini Sorbet that features vodka. Since Disney Springs allows beverages as you walk around, you can get one to go. Even if you aren’t dining in, it’s the perfect boozy way to cool off during the hot months.
The Service and Hospitality
Our waitress did a fabulous job showing us the menu highlights. My Husband doesn’t love seafood as much as I do, so she really helped to steer in the right direction. We dined on a busy Sunday evening and didn’t have any issues with our service.
So many parents avoid dinners at Disney Springs because they assume there aren’t family-friendly options, but that just isn’t true. The kid’s menu offers fresh fish options and beef skewers that are popular options.
