Disney on Ice “Worlds of Enchantment” Review

Last night, our family attended Disney on Ice “Worlds of Enchantment” at the Infinite Energy Arena (Duluth, GA). As much as we love Disney, we had never been to a Disney on Ice performance previously. It was always on our bucket list, but our son wasn’t old enough yet. I jumped on the opportunity to see “Worlds of Enchantment” and I was just as excited as my 3 year old.

Disney on Ice “Worlds of Enchantment” Review

The show opens with an introduction from your hosts, Minnie and Mickey. They are your tour guides through the magical Disney story lines that we love from the movies. Toy Story, Cars, Frozen and the Little Mermaid came to life on the ice. Each vignette featured colorful backdrops, music from the films and special effects.

I was most impressed by the talent of the cast. I’m not an expert, but the twenty performers made the figure skating look effortless and flawless. They were able to interact with audience as well- waving at the kids and coming close to the side of the arena. My favorite duet was Barbie and Ken, in the Toy Story feature. They skated, as the famous dynamic duo, to classic oldie songs we grew up with. This is just as fun to watch, as an adult, as it is for the kids.

A crowd favorite for the kids, was Olaf. You could immediately hear the excitement from the kids when we skated onto stage. He really stole the show with the same snowman humor from the movie.

Overall, I loved Disney on Ice and our family would definitely go back to a performance. The best part is seeing the awe on your child’s face. “Worlds of Enchantment” is magical, worth the ticket price and an unforgettable family experience.
