Take your party to the next level with these Brown Sugar Bacon Crackers. They’re the perfect bite-sized appetizer that’s sweet and savory. A cracker base makes a crunchy base, then it’s wrapped with a strip of bacon and covered in a brown sugar mixture before baking til crispy. It caramelizes as it cooks, creating a sweet, smoky glaze that complements the savory flavor of the bacon. These are always a big hit for any occasion.

When To Make These Brown Sugar Bacon Crackers
This appetizer is evergreen and great for so many occasions. I always make them for game days, but I’ve also served them at holiday parties and showers. I love that they’re portable, bite-sized, and can be tossed into a bowl to serve. They don’t need to be kept warm, so they aren’t fussy either. Turn to this recipe for any party!
How To Make These Ahead Of Time
It takes 25 minutes to cook these Brown Sugar Bacon Crackers. I serve them right out of the oven, but they’re still delicious as they cool and can be kept out at room temperature. They’re best within 1-2 days of cooking. Prep the crackers a day beforehand and cook right before serving. Just refrigerate the tray of bacon-wrapped crackers until you’re ready to cook. I do not recommend cooking them the day before and serving later. Serve the crackers immediately.

How To Store Leftovers
Transfer any leftovers to an airtight food storage container. Enjoy the leftovers within 1 day of cooking. The crackers can be left out at room temperature for 24 hours to eat and do not need to be refrigerated. Refrigeration will soften the cracker and the crunch will be gone. Toss after 24 hours. The crackers do not freeze well. If you like the idea of sweet bacon, but you’re not crazy about the cracker– try my Pecan Candied Bacon recipe.
Brown Sugar Bacon Crackers Ingredients:
- Club Crackers: the Club Crackers brand is easiest to wrap with the rectangle shape
- Thin Sliced Bacon: thick bacon will not crisp as well as a regular cut
- Brown Sugar: dark or brown sugar works
- Pepper

Recipe Variations
If you want to add some heat, sprinkle some cayenne red pepper onto the bacon along with the brown sugar and pepper. It will make it slightly spicy. If you want even more spice, place a sliced jalapeño pepper on top of the cracker before you wrap it with bacon. It’s not for everyone, but it’ll certainly add the heat! Follow the same baking directions.
