Universal is bringing big fun to its youngest fans this summer. Universal Kids Resort, the first-ever regional theme park from Universal Destinations & Experiences created specifically for families with young children, officially opens July 1 in Frisco, Texas. If your family is familiar with Universal Studios Orlando but you’ve been looking for something for your younger kids, this is it.
Families can now begin planning their next “kidcation” as tickets, hotel packages, and the park’s first annual pass option are officially on sale.
Spread across 20 acres, Universal Kids Resort reimagines the classic theme park experience through immersive, kid-sized adventures inspired by some of the most beloved characters in entertainment. Designed with younger children and their families in mind, the park blends interactive play, colorful attractions, splash zones, dancing, and character-driven experiences.
