How To Visit Tri-Circle D Ranch at Fort Wilderness

A ticket is not required to visit the Tri-Circle-D ranch. If you’re not staying at Fort Wilderness Campground, you’ll need to take a resort bus or use Disney’s Minnie Van service. During the peak seasons, during the holidays, or during spring break, reservations are required to access the resort if you don’t hold a Fort Wilderness reservation. Therefore, consider making dining reservations or reserving your trail ride through the My Disney Experience app.
The ranch comprises two areas. There is the original stable and riding area, known as the Trail Blaze Corral, and that’s where trail rides are offered. It’s in the outpost section of Fort Wilderness Campground. The newer building, and second area of the ranch, is in the Settlement area of Fort Wilderness. That’s where the historical artifacts and stables are located.
Take the internal resort bus transportation to get from the Outpost area to the Settlement area. The buses run regularly around the resort, moving guests between the designated resort sections.

Making Reservations For Activities

Pony rides depart from the stable at Tri-Circle-D Ranch, at the settlement section of the resort. Reservations are not necessary for the kids’ pony rides, but there might be a short wait. Cast Members walk around with the pony as children ride. The pony rides are from 10 AM – 5 PM.
Carriage Rides depart in front of Crockett’s Tavern near Pioneer Hall, and advance reservations are recommended. Additionally, trail rides require advance reservations. The rides depart from the Trail Blaze Corral (at the Outpost area of the resort) at 8 AM, 9:30 AM, 11 AM, 12:30 PM, and 2 PM.
