InterContinental Hotel Buckhead Invites Atlanta To Savor Summer

Last Updated on June 10, 2025 by Kimberly Stroh

Just in time for summer, the InterContinental Hotel Buckhead unveils its latest indulgence: Peachtree Poolside Experience, a luxurious new al fresco dining concept curated by the acclaimed team behind The Americano, led by celebrity chef Scott Conant. His name is synonymous with big-name television shows like Chopped and House of Knives.

Nestled beside the hotel’s elegant pool deck and framed by Buckhead’s skyline, this stylish outdoor experience blends laid-back sophistication with “peachy” seasonal flavors. Whether you’re sipping craft cocktails under the sun or savoring classic poolside dishes, The Intercontinental invites Atlanta locals and travelers alike to unwind, indulge, and elevate their summer dining rituals.

Curated Menu Offers A Peachy Experience

The InterContinental Hotel Buckhead calls themselves a “modern icon of Southern Hospitality”. They live up to the high bar they set. The Peachtree Poolside Menu offers poolside favorites with a modern twist. From crisp Caesar salads to rich Ahi Tuna Crudo, each dish is designed to complement the relaxed, sun-soaked atmosphere while maintaining the high culinary standards The Americano is known for.

The summer burger you love is elevated with wagyu beef, truffle aioli and fontina cheese. Or opt for the handmade gnocchi with the chef’s signature pomodoro sauce. My personal pick was the Caesar Salad with blackened shrimp.

A day at the pool isn’t complete without a cocktail in your hand. The Americano bar creates made-to-order craft cocktails for a refreshing sip, but keeps everyone in mind with matching mocktail options. These two peachy drinks pair with the new menu:

  • The Sweet Peach Tea Mule – A spirited twist on a Southern classic, blending peach-infused black tea, Belvedere Peach Nectar, peach schnapps, and a bold kick of blood orange ginger beer.
  • The Summer Peach Mocktail – A refreshingly light take featuring Georgia peach tea, fresh mint, cucumber, and sparkling blood orange ginger beer. Perfect for slow sipping under the sun.

Dine In The Privacy of Your Own Luxe Cabana

The InterContinental offers a heated saline rooftop pool, hot tub and first-come-first-serve lounge chairs. However, the most luxurious way to enjoy the poolside menu from The Americano is to reserve a cabana. It’s a private shaded area that seats four people, and includes a dedicated server.

The plush seating is a step-up from the basic lounge chairs. Reserving the cabana ensures you’ll have a great space that shields you from the Atlanta sun. The cabana can be reserved for a full or half-day. It’s certainly a chic haven that makes every poolside moment feel like a VIP escape.

How To Book InterContinental Hotel Amenities With Resort Pass

Travelers can always enjoy the amenities that are included with their overnight stay, but I love that the InterContinental welcomes everyone.

Anyone can enjoy the new Peachtree Poolside Experience, even if you don’t have an overnight hotel reservation. Use ResortPass to secure your access to all of the Intercontinental Hotel Buckhead amenities, including the spa.

Adult ResortPass prices to the Intercontinental are $45 per person, for a day pass, and children are $20 each. Children are welcome at the pool. It’s the perfect excuse for locals to get out and play in their own city, while taking advantage of the InterContinental Hotel amenities. Cabanas can also be reserved directly through ResortPass.
