Flavorful Eats: Lola’s Burger and Tequila Bar In Roswell (Review)

Last Updated on March 13, 2026 by Kimberly Stroh

Canton Street, in Roswell, Georgia, has a robust history that is overshadowed by the bustling hot spots it offers today. Roswell residents have an insatiable affection for the diverse dining options of Canton Street, but they easily forget about the decades past that surround them. Lola’s Burger and Tequila Bar is where history and flavorful eats combine for a dining experience that will keep you coming back.

Roswell Lola’s Burger and Tequila Bar Review

Imagine the grandeur of moving pictures when they were first introduced. Audiences lined up from across the country to experience the glamour of Hollywood in historic Roswell. The building that Lola’s occupies was once the city’s only cinema. Lola’s pays tribute to the unique history – with the original theater seating and a genuine Coca-Cola wall painting – while adding eclectic modern decor to match their menu.

If only those walls could talk, right? The owners of Lola’s cherish the local community and their little piece of history. Go for the premium tequilas, craft burgers, and Latin-inspired entrees, but don’t pass up a chance to check out the building’s history as well.

The vintage Coca-Cola sign is my favorite, and I love spotting them in Atlanta.

Flavors That Take You Beyond Canton Street

Lola’s menu has the best of classic American cuisine combined with Latin flavors. The menu has a ton of options to choose from, whether you’re in the mood for a casual burger or a slow-cooked paella that’s prepared fresh upon your arrival. Having options to pick from means there’s something for everyone.

Grab a top-shelf cocktail from Lola’s to pair with your burger.

Named after Roswell’s most famous street, the Canton Street Chips are a delectable appetizer. It’s a huge portion of Fresh Cut Waffle Chips that are topped with their carnitas, queso, and chives. It’s accompanied by 13 other appetizer options on the menu, but I’d order it every time. I wouldn’t judge anyone for ordering it as a main dish and refusing to share – they’re that good!

Lola’s Burger and Tequila Bar is famous for the Canton Street Chips.

Our table prefers the best of both worlds – ordering a Latin dish alongside a burger. The Pollo Asado has a great balance of crispy skin with juicy meat as you bite into it. It’s served with plantains, slaw, and potatoes, which makes it a hearty option that could feed two. There’s a depth of flavor that you can truly taste in the chicken that comes through with the marinade.

The roast chicken had a great smoky flavor.

If you’re at Lola’s to watch a game on one of their many big screens, then I highly recommend one of their burgers. They’ve got 13 fresh burger choices (including some vegetarian options) on the menu that are finger-licking good. Be sure to ask your server for a custom tequila pairing for the ultimate Lola’s experience.
