Georgia summers are hot. I’m always looking for something refreshing that I can make the kids as a treat. That’s how I this recipe originally came about. It doesn’t have a heavy ice content, like a smoothie, it’s much more creamy. My kids love it so much that I started making bigger batches.

Now, whenever my girlfriends have a baby shower or bridal shower, I’m making this peach punch recipe. Everyone loves the refreshing and sweet flavor. Double or triple the recipe for larger party sizes and you’ve got a great peachy party punch!

How To Make Peach Punch: For A Party Or Individual Drink

This Peach Punch recipe is not only refreshing, it’s downright delicious as well. One way to make those summer peaches last all year long is to pick them, freeze them, and bring them out to use specifically in this punch recipe. Don’t worry though, frozen store-bought peaches will do the trick as well!

When To Make Peach Punch: Baby Shower, Bridal Shower, Spring

If you use frozen peaches, you can make the punch all year round. It’s best to make the punch when you’ve got farm fresh peaches. Peach season usually runs from late spring to summer, depending on the type you use.

Make the party drink for parties, BBQ, church gatherings, book clubs and tea time. The punch is perfect for spring or summer gatherings.

What To Serve With Punch

I love to keep my dishes light with this warm weather drink. It’s slightly heavier than drinking a soda or tea. Think about sandwiches and salads as pairing ideas.

How To Make Your Peach Punch For A Party

Ice cream is what makes the punch creamy! Unfortunately, the punch won’t be as delicious if you make it too far ahead of time before an event. It doesn’t have the same carbonation and texture after it melts. Make your punch right before the party.

Double or Triple the recipe for parties. I make this peach punch recipe for baby showers exactly as it calls. I’ll play with the recipe for a bridal shower by sometimes adding a touch of alcohol.

How To Make Your Peach Punch Alcoholic

If you want to add a boozy touch to your punch, add a splash of bourbon. I love my whiskey peach punch with iced tea for summer, but this is a creamier version. All you need is a splash of bourbon to be a floater on top or you can blend it by stirring.
