Festive Events to Celebrate Christmas in LaGrange
- Sip, Shop, and Stroll Downtown – November 21
The celebrations begin Friday (November 21st) evening with Downtown LaGrange’s Holiday Sip and Shop from 5–9 p.m. Shoppers can wander through beautifully decorated storefronts, enjoy extended shopping hours, and take advantage of special holiday deals.
Those who purchase a commemorative stemless wine glass can refill it with wine at participating shops as they browse for the perfect gifts. The warm glow of downtown lights and festive window displays creates one of the most charming holiday shopping experiences in the region.
- Sweetland on Ice Returns – November 22
On Saturday, November 22, families can glide into the holiday spirit at Sweetland on Ice, the beloved seasonal ice rink at Sweetland Amphitheatre. The 5,500-square-foot open-air rink will be open from noon to 9 p.m., offering skate rentals, food, beverages (including festive cocktails), and a visit from Santa himself. Sweetland on Ice runs through February and hosts themed nights and special events throughout the winter—making it a must-do for holiday fun.

- Shop Local at the Harvest & Holly Market – November 22
Just a mile from downtown, The Rail District will host its Harvest & Holly Market on Saturday, November 22nd, from 4–10 p.m. Visitors can browse a wide array of artisan goods, boutique finds, handmade crafts, and unique holiday gifts. Seasonal décor, local treats, and a cheerful, open-air atmosphere make this market a standout stop for holiday shoppers.
- Run Through the Lights: Tour de Tinsel – November 22
Saturday evening brings a brand-new event to LaGrange: the inaugural Tour de Tinsel, an illuminated 5K and 10K night race beginning at 7 p.m. The course winds through some of LaGrange’s most beautifully decorated neighborhoods, including the Callaway Estate and the historic Hillside District. Starting and ending at Sweetland Amphitheatre, the race benefits Circles of Troup County. It is a qualifier for the 2026 Peachtree Road Race—giving runners both a festive experience and a chance to earn a coveted spot in Atlanta’s iconic July 4 race.
