If you’ve never tried a dessert fluff recipe, you’re missing out! They’re potluck favorites and this Banana Split Fluff is one of my favorites. It brings all the nostalgic flavors of a classic banana split into one creamy dessert. Bursting with sweet pineapple, ripe bananas, and bright maraschino cherries, it’s perfectly complemented by fluffy Cool Whip, crunchy walnuts, and chocolatey bites throughout. Whether you’re serving it at a summer picnic, potluck, or just as a sweet treat at home, it’s bound to be a crowd-pleaser.

Banana Split Fluff Ingredients:
- Banana Instant Pudding: 3.4 ounce box
- Crushed Pineapple: Buy the canned crushed pineapple
- Cool Whip
- Miniature Marshmallows: classic white (vanilla) flavor
- Chopped Walnuts: roughly chopped
- Miniature Chocolate Chips
- Bananas: Pick ripe bananas
- Maraschino Cherries: drain the cherries and pat dry with a paper towel to remove moisture

How To Store Leftovers
Refrigerate any leftovers by covering with plastic wrap or transferring to an air-tight food storage container. Keep the fluff refrigerated and enjoy within 5-6 days of prepping the fluff. Do not freeze this dessert. The defrosting process with change the consistency. Most of the time, I don’t have leftovers at all because everyone loves this dessert.
Recipe Variations
Feel free to use sugar-free versions of the ingredients, if you’re watching calories or carbs. Full-size milk chocolate chips work in a pinch, if you can’t find miniature chocolate chips. Omit the nuts if you have an allergy or prefer the fluff without it.
