There always seems to be two teams in the fall season: team pumpkin and team apple. Which one are you? I find myself constantly switching teams because I love both flavors. Most likely, since you found this recipe, you’re team apple! You’re going to enjoy these scrumptious Apple Pie Spiced Pretzels – they’re crunchy, sweet and have all of the apple pie flavors that you already love.
The kids love these as an afternoon snack idea. They’re also great for halloween parties, watching football games or snacking on around a fire pit. They fit in quite nicely to your family fall plans, so go ahead and make a big batch to enjoy.
I’ll admit, they take a little bit of effort because they’re baked. However, you can store them in your pantry for all of the fall season and munch on them for any occasion. That’s worth heating up the oven!

Apple Pie Spiced Pretzels Recipe
Anyone can make this snack recipe. It’s foolproof and simple to throw together. There are so many great ways to jazz up pretzels, but this one is particularly festive for the fall season. You just mix together a few ingredients with your pretzels, stir and bake in the oven. Doesn’t get any easier than that!
To make these Apple Pie Spiced Pretzels, you’ll need a baking pan with the edges. This will help you spread out the pretzels for even baking and they won’t fall off the sides. If you’re looking for easy clean up, use aluminum foil on the pan and toss it when you’re done!
Pick How Much Apple Flavor You Want
This recipe calls for one tablespoon of apple pie spice, but you can definitely add more if you want (up to two tablespoons). The one tablespoon offers a slight apple flavor without being overpowering.
If you’re a bigger fan of the flavor, feel free to add more. Sometimes I’ve played with the recipe as I’ve made it a couple of times with varying amounts.
What To Serve With Apple Pie Spiced Pretzels
Whenever you’ve got a sweet and salty snack, you’re going to need something to wash it down with. For the kids, I make a special batch of Harry Potter Pumpkin Juice to accompany the fall theme. For cozy fall nights after the kids go to bed, we’ll snack on these pretzels with a bit batch of my Whiskey Apple Cider Punch recipe.
Another great idea is any hard apple cider or IPA! These pretzels are great to much on during cocktail hour or perfect when the football game is on.
How To Keep Your Pretzels Fresh After Baking
Once they’re baked and cooled, you can store any leftovers in an air-tight food storage container. They’ll last for 4-6 weeks in your pantry without going bad. Do not freeze the pretzels. Keep the pretzels dry in a cool room temperature place – like your pantry.
