RiverView Inn Chattanooga Review

I received a complimentary stay at the RiverView Inn, but all opinions are my own.

With Fall right around the corner, it’s time to start thinking of all of the great things that come along with it. The foliage change offers the perfect excuse to book a weekend away. Located an hour and half from Atlanta, Chattanooga is a great escape for the season. Our recent stay at the RiverView Inn on Lookout Mountain gave me all the #FallFeels and I can’t wait to return.

Newly renovated, the RiverView Inn offers a premiere location for families that want to visit the city’s attractions. The 10 renovated rooms offer the comforts of home with spectacular views. Owners of the Inn made an unwavering commitment to preserving the iconic history of Lookout Mountain. The transformation of the RiverView Inn was part of the commitment and they pride themselves on hospitality.

The Lookout Mountain location offers the best panoramic views of the Tennessee River and downtown Chattanooga. Our suite had rocking chairs, on the porch, that were begging for a morning cup of coffee as a moment of peace before our busy day of site seeing. It was relaxing to sit and watch the sunrise with one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever seen.

Our Morningside Suite had a cozy cottage feeling with the wrought iron bed and floral quilt. The suite decor gave nod to the mountain area and included a couch sitting area with a flat screen television. The Innkeeper, Johnathon, describes the renovation perfectly, “RiverView Inn captures the nostalgia of the golden age of ‘The American Road Trip’ while meeting the needs of today’s modern traveler.”

I loved the spacious bathroom area with new fixtures and a large soaking tub. There was plenty of space to spread out and not feel on top of each other while getting ready in the morning.

The RiverView Inn offers a complimentary continental breakfast in the SkyBox that includes coffees, fresh pastries and fruit. At night, the fire pit is lit for guests to relax and socialize around. Definitely bring your S’more supplies for this treat.

If you’re exploring Lookout Mountain, the Inn is a prime location for your stay. It’s only minutes from Rock City, Ruby Falls and the Incline Railway. Guests who want to connect with nature and partake in outdoor sports can access the hiking and mountain bike trails nearby as well.
