“Some people are worth melting for” – isn’t Olaf your favorite snowman? He might be my favorite part of Disney’s Frozen franchise and our boys think he’s so funny. These fun Olaf cookies are the perfect way to celebrate him and have fun in the kitchen. They might be your new holiday cookie and they’re perfect for a Frozen themed birthday party.
For his cute shape, you use Nutter Butter cookies. They’re shape is so versatile (I’ve even made these Football Pops with them). The kids can help add his face after you’ve dipped each cookie. I always let the kids add the eyes to each Olaf cookie.
Store them in an airtight container and they’ll last over a week. Be careful that the frosting has dried before stacking them in the container.
With Frozen 2 coming out in 2019, these are the perfect excuse to have a family movie night and re-watch the original!
How To Make These Fun Olaf Cookies
Cut tootsie rolls into fourths and shape each piece into a cone shape for the nose. Cut each piece of gum in half to represent the teeth.
Melt the white chocolate candy melts according to package directions. Dip cookie into the melted chocolate and tap off excess, lay on a parchment lined cookie sheet.
Immediately add the eyes and nose. Repeat with the other cookies and let dry.
While those are drying, melt the black chocolate candy melts according to package directions. Place chocolate in a sandwich size baggie or piping bag.
Pipe on a mouth, eyebrows, and hair pieces. Then, add the piece of gum to the inside of the mouth for the teeth. Let dry and Enjoy this fun little treat!
Recipe note: since they do have a small piece of gum, they may not be suitable for toddlers.
