For me, there’s nothing better than a big Easter ham! It’s delicious on the holiday, but when you have plenty of leftovers, you’ve got to get creative. This Leftover Easter Ham Pasta recipe came about when (you guessed it) we had to use the leftover ham the week after Easter. It’s creamy, delicious, and the perfect way to ensure you’re not wasting anything.
Since having kids, we always look for a 30-minute dinner idea with easy cleanup. Weeknight dinners need to be quick, easy to make, and have quick clean up. A few days after Easter puts you into the middle of the week when you’re busy again. This Leftover Easter Ham Pasta is certainly easy to throw together. You’ve already got the ham!

Tips For Making Leftover Easter Ham Pasta
The best part is only having one pot to clean up – from start to finish, everything goes into the same pot. I have a big Le Creuset pasta pot that helps me throw together this dinner. To make it even easier, purchase your vegetables already sliced and chopped. It’s worth the extra few dollars when time is tight on weeknights.
What To Serve With Leftover Easter Ham Pasta
This is such a great dish with the protein and vegetables already included. I like to keep it simple. Serve a side garden salad with pasta or dinner rolls. It’s all about using up what you ate for Easter. If you still have leftover Easter side dishes, put them on the table too. Keep it casual and keep it simple. I enjoy a glass of wine with the pasta and call it a meal.
How To Store Leftovers
Once the pasta has cooled, transfer the leftovers to an airtight food storage container. Keep the leftovers refrigerated. For the best freshness, enjoy the leftovers within 2-3 days of cooking. You’ve already had the ham for several days, so keep that in mind. Most hams can be refrigerated for 7-10 days, that includes the Honey Baked Ham company.
Reheat the leftovers in individual portions. Microwave the individual portions on high for 2-3 minutes until fully heated. I do not recommend freezing the leftovers.
