Festive and fun, these No-Bake Christmas Wreath Cookies are about to be your new favorite go-to during the holiday season. As much as I love baking treats during the season, sometimes it’s nice to throw together something that doesn’t require the oven!
These Christmas Wreath Cookies are made with old-fashioned Cornflake cereal, with green food dye, to create the wreath look. It’s held together with a marshmallow base (so they taste similar to Rice Krispies treats). To finish, they’ve got cute red candies for the bow.
I always throw a few no-bake items onto my holiday cookie trays. There are a few reasons I always turn to no-bake cookies when I’m in a pinch. To start, you don’t have to worry about burning. The cookies will save your oven space for other baked treats and the kids can help out.
I’ve seen these Christmas Wreath Cookies made a couple of different ways – they’re an old-fashioned cookie – but this one uses Cornflake Cereal. It gives the cookie a nice little crunch. I love how festive the cookies look with the red and green color! You can’t go wrong.

How To Make No-Bake Christmas Wreath Cookies
For this recipe, you’ll need 3 tools. You’ll need a medium saucepan to use over the stovetop for melting butter and marshmallow, a medium bowl and wax paper. That’s another great thing about this recipe – you don’t need anything fancy to make the cookies!
When To Make These Christmas Cookies
Kids absolutely love these cookies. They’re so festive and I love the texture that’s creamy and crunchy. I make these for class parties, as part of my Christmas cookie tray, for holiday parties and bring them to potlucks. They’ll save you time during the busy Christmas season since you don’t have to bake!
How To Keep Your Christmas Wreath Cookies Fresh
After your cookies set, place them in airtight food storage containers. If you’re stacking the cookies, I place sheets of wax paper in-between the layers. This keeps the red candies from falling off of the cookies.
Can You Freeze These Cookies?
Yes! These Wreath Cookies can be frozen. I place them in a freezer bag and store them in the bag of the freezer. They can be frozen for up to 3 months. Let them thaw on the counter top for about an hour before enjoying again. It doesn’t change the texture of the cereal.
