Amid the hustle and bustle of the Fall season, it can be hard to find time for yourself. Atlanta area families have already been back to school for several months and it’s time to treat yourself. Roswell makes it easy to unwind and rejuvenate. Historic Roswell has something for everyone too. They have over 200 independent restaurants, shops and services. I’ve gathered 5 Ways to Treat Yourself in Roswell, Georgia.
5 Ways to Treat Yourself in Roswell, Georgia
Enjoy a Delicious Brunch at Osteria Mattone
Enjoy regional Italian cuisine at Osteria Mattone for Brunch. The relaxing atmosphere and full Brunch menu is the perfect way to start the day. The brunch menu offers meat and seafood entrees, like the Lobster and Crab Omelet, plus pizzas and pastas. My personal favorite is the Il Giovani pizza that features egg, sausage and speck. Brunch is offered Saturday and Sunday 11:30 – 3:30pm.
Tour a Museum
Historic Roswell is home to several nationally recognized historic landmarks. Bulloch Hall was the home of a founding family of the city, whose daughter married Theodore Roosevelt Sr at the home (making them the grandparents of Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th President of the United States). Or admire the Greek Revival architecture of Barrington Hall, another historic house museum.
Shop the Boutiques
Roswell is known for the fantastic shopping you can find located on Canton Street. From fine art to whimsical gifts, you’re sure to find a treasure to take home. I love the bohemian vibe of brands you can find at The Bilt-House. The Bilt-House’s Instagram feed is proof that Roswell is your destination for a great outfit.
Find Your Zen
Treat yourself to some all-important “me” time with vinyasa flow at Korsi Yoga, which was voted best in Atlanta for yoga studios, followed by a massage at Roswell’s Zenergize Spa. You can book an appointment online for the spa and indulge in Swedish massage therapy or deep tissue. Perfect for a girl’s spa day!
Come for the Lattes
The awesome latte art you see on social media can be found in Roswell at Crazy Love Coffee. This local business is an early morning favorite. Sip on a cup of coffee or try a custom waffle sundae. Your chain coffee join will be a thing of your past once you discover the baristas at Crazy Love Coffee, open Monday – Saturday.
