Superhero Cookie Recipe: Blue Avengers Tesseract Cookies

Watching Infinity War on opening weekend left me with so many emotions. It was the biggest grossing opening weekend of all time and I’ve got an awesome superhero cookie recipe to celebrate! In case you haven’t seen the movie, Thanos needs to collect all of the infinity stones to gain power. We’ve been most familiar with the tesseract since it’s first appearance in Captain America, Thor and the Avengers. It’s the space stone that Thanos needs and these cookies are a delicious representation!

I’d pull the kids into the kitchen for this recipe. They are easy to make and don’t require a lot of detail. Kids love rolling dough into balls and watching the dye change the dough color as you need. This superhero cookie recipe can be used for a birthday party or a family movie night. So gather the kids and start baking!

Using stand mixer, cream the butter and sugar for about 1 minute on medium speed. Mix in egg and vanilla. Scrape down the sides as needed. Set aside.

In a medium size bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and cream of tartar. With the mixer running on low speed, slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. The dough is quite thick and you may have to stir the rest by hand.
