Stay Healthy With a Good Night’s Sleep

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and Breathe Right® Nasal Strips. All opinions are mine alone. #TomorrowStartsTonight #CollectiveBias

To me, there is nothing better than a solid night’s sleep! I wake up feeling refreshed, focused and in a positive mood. My family knows when “Mom didn’t sleep well” because I’m cranky by the afternoon. Sleep has become part of a healthy routine for me.

As we head into cold and flu season, getting a good night’s sleep is important, for me, to maintain a healthy immune system and keep my stress levels down. In the fall, my nasal congestion starts to act up, due to allergies, which causes me toss and turn in the night and wake my husband.

In a few months, sleep will be a luxury as I head into a new routine with an infant. So I’m focusing on a restful night’s sleep now! I tackle my sleep congestion problems with Breathe Right® Nasal Strips.

It’s a drug-free solution to my nasal congestion, and I can use it nightly without worries. They are clinically proven to instantly lift your nasal passage and open your nose upon application. The strong adhesive stays put all night and easily wipes off after I wash my face in the morning.

I went to Walmart to stock up on some Breathe Right® Nasal Strips before my allergies got out of hand. They have the best everyday value and make it convenient for me to pick up.

Try My Nightly Routine for a Good Night’s Sleep:

  • Turn Off All Electronics Before Bed

I start getting ready for bed long before I lay down. I turn off all electronics to start clearing my mind and prep for bedtime.

  • Take Care of the Essentials

Washing my face and brushing my teeth is a non-negotiable part of my nighttime routine. I like wash the day away before using my Breathe Right® Nasal Strips.

  • Apply Breathe Right® Nasal Strips

After my face is dry, I apply my nasal strips. The instructions make them easy to use; they instantly stick and stay put. Make sure to apply the tabs over the part of your nostrils that flare. Rub gently on the strip to ensure it sticks, and you’re set. Watch the official Breathe Right Nasal Strips YouTube video below and see how easy they are to apply!

  • Moisturize

I love to go to sleep with some lotion on my hands and feet, too. It’s another way to combat the changing seasons.

  • Lights Out

Finally, I turn off all of the lights to help me fall asleep. I don’t like any distractions while falling asleep.

By focusing on a healthy night’s sleep (check out Sleep Advisor’s infographic), I’m a better mom and wife. I know that putting my sleep first helps to keep me healthy and happy, and my husband will be able to sleep better!
