The latest movie, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, hits theaters on December 15th and fans are already getting into the spirit. Dole is collaborating with Disney to “Unite For a Healthy Galaxy” and bring Star Wars to supermarkets nationwide. Fans can find Star Wars: The Last Jedi characters Rey, Finn, Kylo Ren and Poe Dameron featured on hundreds of millions of DOLE® fruits and vegetables. Dole Chef and Director of Culinary Nutrition, Mark Allison, worked closely with Lucasfilm to create Star Wars Inspired Recipes that feature Star Wars: The Last Jedi characters, droids and vehicles as well as icons from the classic saga.

“Unite for a Healthy Galaxy” is the latest campaign in a series of healthy living collaborations between Dole Food Company and Disney aimed at helping parents encourage their kids and families to make healthier food and lifestyle choices. I think these recipes have the power to connect multiple generations of Star Wars fans and promote healthy eating in a fun way.
Use these recipes to come together during the holiday season! Grab your little Jedis and let them help you in the kitchen. I love showing my son how much fun the kitchen can be.
