Spinach Dip With Bacon Recipe: Warm, Creamy & Cheesy

Last Updated on June 30, 2021 by Kimberly Stroh

Ask anyone that cook and they’ll admit they have a go-to dish that they bring to any event their invited to. This is my go-to recipe that I’m always bringing to parties. It’s easy, I can make it ahead of time and most of the ingredients are always in my house. Everyone always asks me for this creamy spinach dip with bacon recipe after they’ve tried it. You just can’t stop at one chip and everyone mingles over the dip because it’s too good to walk away from.

Creamy and cheesy, everyone loves this spinach dip with bacon recipe! It has three different types of cheese and can be made ahead of time. It's perfect for a Super Bowl Party, Game Day or any get together! #EasyAppetizerRecipe #SuperBowlDips #GameDayRecipes #SpinachDipRecipe #EasyDipRecipes #SuperBowlAppetizers

The best part of this recipe is that it’s all made in one bowl. It uses a box of chopped frozen spinach and a package of bacon. If I’m making bacon for brunch, I’ll save some for this recipe. I bet you have most of these ingredients in your house too.

If you want to make it ahead of time, you can do so 24 hours in advance. Just mix everything together and spread in your baking dish. Refrigerate until you’re ready to bake. I recommend putting it in the oven about 40-45 minutes ahead of your event. That way it’s still hot and bubbly when you’re ready to serve. You can serve it alongside tortilla chips or flour tortillas.

Preheat the oven to 350º. Combine your cream cheese, mozzarella, parmesan, bacon, spinach and mayonnaise together in a large bowl. Mix together until complexity combined (you can use clean washed hands or spoon).

Note: I like to use crispy bacon because it stands out a bit more in the dip after it’s baked. Make sure your spinach is drained as much as possible from any extra water. I soak up any water with paper towels.

I buy the pre-shredded packages of mozarella and parmesan cheese. If your package is a bit more than 5oz - just throw the whole package into the mix. You can't go wrong with a little extra cheese, right?
