I’m a huge fan of nuts and I can’t get enough of salted peanuts. When they’re combined with a sweet, you’ve got a winning combination. If you’re a fan of Snickers candy bars, you’re going to love this Snickers Salted Peanut Candy recipe. It combines rich peanut butter flavor, with the salt of the nuts and snickers all throughout it. The best part? No stovetop or thermometer is required! They come together in minutes.

Snickers Salted Peanut Candy is chewy, sweet and salty! Snickers are mixed into a rich peanut butter nougat and topped with peanuts!

Homemade candy is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. Since I love it so much, I make it all year round, but I pick up the pace during the holiday season. Everyone loves receiving homemade candy during the Christmas season. These Snickers Salted Peanut Candy makes a beautiful gift or an addition to a dessert tray.

People never expect the Snickers and they’re always pleasantly surprised. Whenever I gift a dessert tray, this is the recipe they’re asking me about after trying it. It’s just the perfect combination of salty and sweet!

How To Make Snickers Salted Peanut Candy

My favorite part of making this candy is that you don’t need to stir forever over a stovetop and you don’t even need a thermometer like traditional candies. You’ll be stirring things together in a big bowl and using a microwave to melt! That’s it. The candy sets in a 9×13-inch baking dish, which is fairly common – most people already own one.

When To Make This Snickers Salted Peanut Candy

This candy isn’t a showstopper dessert on it’s own – I like serving it in addition to other candies or cookies. I always make it during the holiday season and people love receiving it as a gift. It’s delicious with a cup of hot coffee as a little treat.

Another great time of the year to make Snickers Salted Peanut Candy is when you’ve got too much leftover Halloween candy! It’s a great way to prep for the upcoming holiday season.

If you’re planning to gift the Snickers Salted Peanut Candy, be sure to check for nut allergies. It’s one reason that I avoid bringing it to potlucks. When I make a big dessert tray, I’ll wrap up the candy separately – just in case!

Tips For Making Your Candy & Cutting It

I use non-stick cooking spray for the bottom of my 9×13-inch baking dish. That should be enough to get it out of the pan without sticking. However, if you don’t have any non-stick spray, you could use wax paper on the bottom. This will allow you to lift it straight up, after the candy has set completely. Then you can cut it into squares.

When you’re cutting the candy, use a sharp kitchen knife. A trick that works every time is to warm the knife under hot water and then slice into the candy. It’s just enough to help the knife glide easier.

How To Keep Your Snickers Salted Peanut Candy Fresh

Store your leftover candy in airtight food storage container. Do not keep your candy in a warm spot. It sets in the refrigerator and I like to keep mine in the fridge after making it. How to freeze the candy: the Snickers Salted Peanut Candy can be frozen for up to three months. That’s how to make it ahead of time before the holiday season. Just let it thaw for 24-hours in the fridge before eating it. You do NOT want to eat it frozen.

Recipe Substitutions You Can Make

If you don’t have any Snickers candy, you can make it with Twix or Rolos! You cannot use evaporated milk. Use sweetened condensed milk, as the recipe calls for. Marshmallow fluff can be store brand, if desired. Just check your size containers, to ensure you’re using the correct amount of each ingredient.

What You’ll Need From The Store:
