You know what’s really funny about eggs? You only eat about 1 or 2 normally, but when they’re deviled, you can pop them so quickly. Before you know it, you’ve eaten 5 or 6 eggs. The culprit in our home are these Spicy Shrimp Deviled Eggs appetizer. They’re so creamy and have a little bit of heat which make them irresistible.

Deviled Eggs are such a great appetizer for holidays. I’ve made them to enjoy for lunch, since they’re a great source of protein, but I love deviled eggs for Easter and Christmas. You can prep them ahead of time, which I actually recommend, and they’re great to pull from the refrigerator when you’re ready to serve them. The only problem is how quickly they disappear.
These Spicy Shrimp Deviled Eggs are slightly more hearty than a traditional deviled egg. The addition of shrimp gives them a bit more texture. You can also decide how spicy you want your eggs to be. I like a little bit of heat, but nothing overpowering.
Make this appetizer recipe once and you’ll realize how much people love it. It’s like guests just hover over the deviled eggs, and socialize, until they all disappear!

How To Make Spicy Shrimp Deviled Eggs
The hardest part of making deviled eggs is the hard boiling. There are 4 ways to hard boil eggs, but then there are shortcut ways as well. What To Serve With Spicy Shrimp Deviled Eggs
Deviled eggs are actually a substantial appetizer for guests and they’re easy to fill up quickly. If you’re serving them before a big brunch or dinner, you might want to consider just making them the only appetizer. For a party, if you want multiple appetizers, make others that are more carb heavy. Pick something that will balance out the eggs, like a dip with French bread. Since the deviled eggs are cold, think about something warm to be the counterpart.
How To Keep Your Shrimp Deviled Eggs Fresh
Once you make your deviled eggs, you want to keep them refrigerated. This is important since they’re a dairy item. You can place them in a beautiful deviled egg platter and put them the fridge until it’s time to serve. That way you aren’t transferring them multiple times back and forth onto serving trays.
Can You Freeze Deviled Eggs?
Unfortunately, deviled eggs just don’t freeze well. You want to make a new batch every time. It’s worth it for a fresh appetizer.
