We have yet to take my oldest son to SeaWorld, but this might the reason why we plan our next visit. SeaWorld Orlando just added a NEW Killer Whale Up-Close Tour. Park guests can experience the majestic wonder of these beautiful animals up close, with a SeaWorld trainer.
The 45-minute tour includes learning from the park’s killer whale trainers, meeting the whales and understanding their unique personalities and even taking part in an interaction with one off the whales. The tour takes place daily and provides an educational experience for kids. You can learn about their feeding habits, healthcare and husbandry sessions. Guests are allowed to ask trainers questions at the Killer Whale Up-Close tour. Throughout the entire experience, you can take photos to help forever preserve the memory of the one-of-a-kind experience.
I know my preschooler would love to see Killer Whales up close and the tour sounds great for families that want an educational aspect to their vacation.
If whales aren’t your thing, SeaWorld Orlando offers other tours as well. Popular guest experiences include the Dolphin Up-Close tour and the Penguin Up-Close tour. These memorable interactions with the animals encourage guests to care about marine life and all animals of the ocean.
The Behind-the-Scenes Tour, a guest favorite, provides an inside look at the park’s amazing animal rescue operation and ends with the opportunity to touch a shark and meet a Magellanic Penguin.
To reserve your spot in one of these tours or buy park tickets, visit SeaWorldOrlando.com. The Killer Whale UP-Close tour begins at 10am daily and lasts 45 minutes. Space is limited on all tours.
