I know I need a boost in my workout motivation during the sweltering days of Summer. Of course, if I can combine my love of Disney – I’m in! Disney is certainly celebrating Pixar this year, from coast to coast. Disney Parks Blog just announced the 2018 Run Disney Virtual Running Shorts Series and it’s the perfect reason to plan some magical miles in your own backyard. The medals are in honor of “Incredibles 2” movie release (June 15th) and the perfect reason to sign up and make it a part of your Summer workout routine.
2018 Run Disney Virtual Running Shorts Series
Virtual runs are awesome because you get to chose your own course, wherever you please. If you’re on vacation, you can run at that destination OR you can run at home. It easily fits into your busy schedule. You can also pick your pace: stroll, walk, run or even take the dog with you. You decide how you want to complete the mileage.
The Incredibles are celebrating summer with three individual races, each with a different commemorative finisher medal—featuring Elastigirl, Mr. Incredible and Violet, or Dash and Jack Jack. You can register online with Run Disney. If you register for one of the individual races, you’ll receive both the commemorative medal and a magnet frame.
Looking for a challenge? The ultimate super hero challenge can be completed by registering for the entire series. You will receive three individual race medals and a bonus Series medal, a magnet frame PLUS you will get a resistance band and hot/cold gel pack.
Each runner will get a race bib that you can download and wear. It’s fun to get the whole family involved and earn those medals!
