If you’ve never made dessert dips, they’re so easy! We love this Peppermint Fluff for Christmastime, but we also make a Gingerbread Cheesecake Dip as well. Both are so easy and everyone loves them. Make them for movie night, Christmas parties or your holiday dessert buffet. You don’t have to be an expert cook to make these – I promise!

I’m all about easy, but fun, for the holiday season. The kids want to make every moment of the season as festive as possible. I love that, but mom gets tired.

Being able to throw everything together and have it come together in minutes is something to be cherished during the hectic holiday season. This Peppermint Fluff is a win in my book and we’ll keep making it every Christmas!

My kids love this recipe the most. Imagine the flavor of candy cane in a dip form. I add some of their favorite snacks for dipping. Anything chocolate goes well. You can make it, refrigerate it and then just serve when you’re ready. It looks really pretty too because it’s a nice pink flavor.

All you need to make this recipe is a mixing bowl and spoon. You’ll be vigorously stirring. If it’s easier for you to use an electric hand mixer, then consider using that instead of mixing by hand!

What To Serve With Peppermint Fluff Dip

Chocolate goes best with the dip. I like to serve chocolate graham crackers, Oreo cookies or chocolate wafers. It tastes like a peppermint mocha when you use the dip. Fruit and vanilla wafers are also a good idea, but the dip can be overpowering as well.

When To Make This Dessert Dip & How To Make It Ahead Of Time

I love to make this dessert dip for any snack, but it’s also a great base for a Christmas dessert tray. Place the dip in the center of a round platter and organize your dippers around it. It’s a beautiful and festive dessert that you can bring to any party.

To make your dip ahead of time, prepare it but store it in the refrigerator. The cream cheese in the dip needs to be refrigerated if you make it ahead of time. However, don’t worry about serving it over ice. It should be fine if it was just made OR refrigerated until served.

How To Store Leftover Peppermint Fluff Dip

After you’ve enjoyed the dip, refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container and place them in the refrigerator. The dessert dip is good for about a week in the refrigerator. If you want to serve it again, you can add more crushed peppermint on top. For best freshness, enjoy within 4-5 days of making the dip!

The peppermint fluff doesn’t freeze well. I do not recommend freezing the dip. Make a new batch instead of freezing it.
