  • Granulated Sugar
  • Light corn syrup
  • Eggs
  • Butter
  • Vanilla Extract

Step-By-Step Directions To Make Pecan Pie Brownies

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prep a 13 x 9 inch metal baking pan with nonstick baking spray. Prepare brownies as directed on the back of the brownie box. Bake at 350 degrees for half of the time listed.

In the meantime, with an electric mixer blend the sugar, corn syrup, eggs, butter, and vanilla. Mix completely. Use a large spoon to add in the chopped pecans.

Remove the brownies from the oven. Spoon the pecan filling on top of the brownies. Use an offset spatula even the top layer of the filling.

 

Return the brownies to the oven. Continue to bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 35 minutes. (The filling will jiggle in the middle as you move the baking pan). Take out of the oven. Set aside to cool completely.

Ingredients

  • 1 box Brownie mix (family size)
  • Ingredients listed on the back of the brownie box 1 C white sugar
  • 1 1⁄2 C light corn syrup
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1⁄4 C butter ( melted)
  • 1 1⁄2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 C chopped pecans

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prep a 13 x 9 inch metal baking pan with nonstick baking spray. Prepare brownies as directed on the back of the brownie box.


2. Bake at 350 degrees for half of the time listed. With an electric mixer blend the sugar, corn syrup, eggs, butter, and vanilla. Mix completely.

3. Use a large spoon to add in the chopped pecans. Remove the brownies from the oven. Spoon the pecan filling on top of the brownies.
