Pete the cat has made his stage debut! He is the main character from one of the most beloved children’s picture book series and the Center for Puppetry Arts, in Atlanta, is bringing him to life onstage. Based on the book series by Georgia authors Kim & James Dean, your children will instantly recognize their favorite blue cat.
This exciting production is part of the Center for Puppetry Art’s family series and it has been in the making for over two years. Audiences will travel through a day in the life of Pete and experiences all of his groovy adventures. The kids will love watching Pete go to school, go underwater and play with his friends.
There is plenty of singing, laughing and vibrant colors to keep every preschooler engaged during the performance. The Center for Puppetry Arts will also provide a special sensory friendly performance on Sunday April 23rd. The show is recommended for ages 4+.
In addition to the performance, you can also experience their ‘Worlds of Puppetry’ Museum and the Create-A-Puppet Workshop™, where you can make and decorate your own Pete the Cat Hand Puppet and perform with it on the classroom stage!
