Family Fun: Newly Remodeled Chuck E. Cheese’s
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Chuck E. Cheese’s. The opinions and text are all mine.
For generations, Chuck E. Cheese’s has been a highlight for families that are looking for kids entertainment and great food. I remember growing up with the restaurants and now it’s a go-to spot for my two sons. For 2019, they have newly remodeled Chuck E. Cheese’s locations and now is the perfect time to plan a visit.
We spent an entire afternoon playing at their flagship Buford, Georgia location. There were a lot of positive improvements made to enhance the experience for the parents and, of course, it’s still a place where a kid can be a kid!
5 Reasons To Visit The Newly Remodeled Chuck E. Cheese’s
The revamped Buford location is completely renovated on the interior and exterior. There’s a greater focus on fresh food and a restaurant-like atmosphere where adults can enjoy themselves alongside the kids. Guests can enjoy their lunch buffet, which is offered Monday – Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., which is stocked with fresh ingredients.
The New ‘tap-to-play’ Play Pass Is Awesome
One of the biggest changes we experienced was their new ‘tap-to-play’ Play Pass feature. It’s an updated technology feature that’s available in the remodeled game rooms. Kids wear a wristband that is loaded with a certain amount of playtime. They can play an unlimited amount of games during the time allotted on their band.
If your child wants to take a break to eat or dance, they have self-service kiosks throughout the restaurant where you can easily pause your wristband. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the dozen new games they offer. They system is a great value and it’s super convenient (when your time is up, you’re done – it’s that easy)!
Everything Is Streamlined For Convenience
When we walk into Chuck E. Cheese’s, I can’t explain the level of excitement in my kids. They don’t want to stand in a long line and wait to order food, they want to go play. Now, they offer self-service kiosks which are near the entrance of the restaurants, to make ordering off the menu simple and fast for parents.
That means less time waiting in line and more time to play as a family – that’s something we love. I just take a buzzer and wait for our food to be ready.
The Food Is Fresh And Delicious
Pizzas are made from scratch with every order at Chuck E Cheese’s. The remodeled locations feature an open kitchen design that’s innovative and inviting. You can see them making pizzas fresh in the kitchen, which makes it even more restaurant-like for parents.
I love the salad bar which features chopped romaine or iceberg lettuce with fresh toppings and dressings. Some locations also serve beer and wine.
Rest And Recharge At Chuck E. Cheese’s
The revamped restaurants feature a more adult ambiance with warm wood, neutral tones and streamlined graphics to create a calmer, more inviting, and friendly environment. I love that the booths had electrical outlets, so you could charge your phone during your visit.
Kids Can Dance Away
This was my youngest’s favorite part! The new design offers a light up dance floor where the hourly live show happens and each birthday show. Each time the show started the kids flocked to the dance floor to get their groove on. Be sure to have your camera ready, because it’s adorable.
