Six Flags Over Georgia, in Atlanta, is on a roll for Summer 2016! Last week, they opened the new DC Super Friends area. It’s part of their new family friendly area that has rides devoted to the little ones that dream of their favorite Super Heros. They can fly, play and ride in the new DC Super Friends Area. It’s a must-stop area for families, with young kids, at Six Flags Over Georgia.
My son was immediately excited to hop on the rides. As a Mom, I appreciated that the area felt like an enclave for the kids- separate from the thrill rides. At 2 years old, there was plenty for him to do at his height. I recommend planning to visit the DC Super Friends area in the beginning of your day while the kids have energy. Theres also stroller parking and restrooms nearby to make it easier on parents.
In total, there are five new attractions that are designed for families to enjoy together. My toddler and I loved the new Batman Batcopter ride. The entire area is perfect for young kids. He felt like he had some freedom to play. I love that Six Flags Over Georgia invested into an area for young kids.
There’s also a fun nostalgic feeling for the adults. I was excited to have my photo taken with Wonder Woman and Batman. She’s my favorite DC hero!
Six Flags Over Georgia is the perfect destination for family fun in Atlanta. We’re excited to make it part of our Summer family plans. There is something for every age and the thrills never stop. For the 2016 season, the park is open daily through August 7th. For more information on planning your next trip, visit Six Flag’s Website.
