As you’ve probably gathered by now, I am mom who loves fitness and Disney. Yeah-that’s pretty obvious. But balancing fitness and being a mom is hard work! It’s a constant daily struggle, but something that I strive for to make me the best Mom I can be. This past 1 1/2 years of being a Mom has been filled with fitness failures and acheivements, but I always get back on track. NO MATTER WHAT!
So a bit more of who I am:
1) It all started in 2013 when I completed my first half marathon, The Disney Princess Half Marathon at Walt Disney World. That’s when I discovered my love for RunDisney! I could combine my two hobbies of fitness and Disney–WIN!
I am beaming from ear to ear (Disney pun intended)!
2) After my first half, I was addicted to being the best version of myself! I was a RUNNER. Little did I know, I took home a little souviner from Disney World. 9 months after my first half marathon, I became a Mom. It is the hardest job I have ever had but it seems to be the best so far. More about my pregnancy later (ahem- too many grilled cheeses…not enough running). My beautiful baby boy, JP, was in my arms:
One of the best days of my life!
My totally trouble toddler today
3) My husband, Joe, shares my passion for Disney. We both love the Disney and totally geek out our #disneyside all the time. He totally supports my Disney fandom and understands. I LOVE HIM. He even participates in RunDisney events with me. I fell more in love with him after he became a Dad to our son. He knows me better than anybody in this world.
Our four year wedding anniversary in 2015
In a nutshell, that’s me today. Follow along as I train for the 2016 Walt Disney World Marathon, take you with us on our family Disney trips, and share the my crazy mommy stories. I guarantee many motherhood laughs, fitness tips and Disney obsessiveness.
