The following post “Maker Space Grand Reveal Event” is sponsored. All opinions are my own.
Have you ever thought about what happens beyond the typical school day? I worry about my kids continuing their education through the Summer Months and I know that a great after-school program can enrich a child’s learning. Generation Infocus is a social innovation organization implementing School Day labs, After School and Summer Activity programs for students Pre K-12.
Generation Infocus uses project-based learning to engage young minds and foster career champions to prepare them to enter into 21st century STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Math) careers.

Maker Space Grand Reveal Event: Downtown Hapeville
This weekend, Generation Infocus is celebrating the Grand Reveal of the Hapeville Maker Space that will be located in the historic downtown district! Guests are invited to attend the grand opening event, and bring your children, to take tours.
Saturday May 19th from 12pm – 3pm, guests can participate in fun hands-on experiences that the whole family will enjoy! The organization will be welcomed into the community with a ribbon cutting ceremony by Hapeville’s own Mayor Alan Hallman and the event will include various activities such as live music, vendors, prizes, snacks, and tours of the new space.
Children will be able to participate in hands-on activities like creating a Wearable Technology keychain, painting a rock for our rock garden, learning some new Yoga positions, and much more!
It’s great that Atlanta will have a venue where kids can keep learning beyond normal school hours, in a space that they can thrive in.
