With our first family trip to Walt Disney World less than a month away, I’ve put a lot of thought into our day at the Magic Kingdom. Our needs at the park will definitely shift now that we are bringing along our little guy. Even though we’ll be busy making memories, JP will need some of his usual routine from home.
After researching the WDW website and other advice from Mommy blogs, I’ve made a list of amenities to remember for our day at the Magic Kingdom park.
Family Amenities at the Magic Kingdom Park:
Baby Care Centers- Disney provides a quiet space for Mom’s to nurse or change diapers. Even though JP is past the nursing stage, he still takes a bottle before nap time. I prefer the quiet space where he is free from distraction so he can fall asleep for a nap. Then Mommy can enjoy the single rider line at Space Mountain!
Charging Stations- Disney Imagineers have cleverly hidden USB ports and charging stations all around the park. Each area of the park has several spots to charge your phone. If the family needs to split up, I can feel better that my phone will be charged.
First Aid Station- Hopefully we won’t need any aid, but I like knowing it’s available to us. You never know when a skinned knee might need a Bandaid!
Merchandise Pick Up and Delivery- Between the diaper bag and stroller, we’ll have our hands full. I’m looking forward to the free shipping services to send our purchases back to the hotel. You can also send your purchases to the front of the park and pick up on your way out. I’ll send my husband to pick them up later at our hotel!
My Disney Experience App-
It’ll be great to have ride wait times at the tips of my fingers. Having an impatient toddler who doesn’t understand waiting means we’ll be hunting shorter wait times. The app is available for both Android and IOS users.
These amenities will surely make our trip to the Magic Kingdom a little bit easier. I want to maximize our fun at the park and not stress about the mundane details. I think it’s great that I don’t need to worry about a phone dying or a place to change his diaper.
I know we’ll be in good hands as a Disney park guest!
Do you have any tips for families traveling with little ones? Or any must-do Magic Kingdom activities with a toddler?
