If you’re looking for family fun, when the weather gets chilly or rainy, you need to take the kids to Legoland Discovery Center Atlanta. The center has over 12 attractions and offers activities for kids of all ages. It’s hard not to notice the smile on everyone’s face when they visit – who doesn’t love Legos? Since it’s located inside of Phipps Plaza, it’s the perfect afternoon escape for all ages to enjoy. Here are my favorite reasons to visit Legoland this season!
Special Events Happening at Legoland Discovery Center Atlanta for Fall
Lego Ninjago Days
Have your kids been obsessed with the Lego Ninjago Movie since seeing it on the big screen? Let the film come to life at Legoland. From 10/7 – 10/15, kids can meet Kai and train like a Ninja. They have a Ninjago mystery mosaic build, shark army Miniland scavenger hunt and an exclusive 10% discount on Lego Ninajago sets in the store.
Our family loved meeting Kai and exploring all of the themed Lego Ninjago stations. Professor Rod, a Master Builder, helped my son build his mosaic. When all of the mosaic pieces are put together they create a big picture.
Brick or Treat
If you’re looking for a fun Halloween themed activity, there is plenty of fun this month at Legoland. They have a Halloween party that’s built just for kids – Brick or Treat (10/21-10/22, 10/28-10/29). They have a pumpkin building activity that kids can add to the Lego pumpkin patch, a pumpkin scavenger hunt through Miniland and a costume contest. Dress the kids up, grab an online ticket and enjoy the spook-tacular fun!
Don’t forget to check out another favorite of our family, “Space Mission” Exhibit. Be sure to purchase your tickets ahead of time to avoid longer lines and save more money! Tickets range from $12.50 – $27.95 for annual passes. Legoland Discovery Center Atlanta also offers special days for toddlers and adult night tickets.
