With only a few more weeks playing, the Center for Puppetry Arts is featuring “Cinderella Della Circus” which tells the whimsical fairytale of Cinderella. Now through July 23rd, Atlanta families can see show at Center for Puppetry Arts. It’s the perfect way to escape the heat this Summer and kids love the twist on one of their favorite stories. Plus, make an afternoon of it and experience the center’s museum.
Cinderella Della Circus Synopsis
In this festive affair, Cinderella is a poetic tightrope walker in P.T. Barnum’s circus, who speaks only in rhyme. When cruel Madame Bullie takes over ringmaster duties, Cinderella is forced to cook and clean instead of performing at the Handsome Prince’s Ball. Cinderella Della Circus is about celebrating differences and using individual talents to work together. Complete with trick marionettes, circus animals, space travel, Jules Verne and a moon monster, this performance is a treat for both boys and girls.
Southern Family Fun Atlanta gave it rave reviews and the show is recommended for ages 4+.
