It’s no secret that I love to keep things easy. Everything has to be simple and still come out great. Those rules even apply to holiday treats. These Halloween Mummy Marshmallow Pops are the perfect hand-held treat for a party. They’re a soft marshmallow that’s dipped in white chocolate, drizzled for a mummy effect and finished with candy eyes. Simple, fun, and unique – you really can’t go wrong making these for Halloween!

Foods that you can hold are great for parties. Guests can easily pick one of these up, not need a plate, and nosh on it while walking around. They’re also super easy for younger kids to hold onto. The Marshmallow Mummy Pops sit on a lollipop stick (that link is for the ones I used on Amazon). You’ll also hold onto the lollipop stick to dip the marshmallows.
The end result is cute and they’re not that hard to make. I keep them in the refrigerator until it’s time to serve, so they’re not at risk for melting. The candy eyes just make them!

Halloween Mummy Marshmallow Pops Recipe
For this recipe, I use square marshmallows that you can find in the baking section of your grocery store. Kraft makes them and Campfire brand makes the square ones as well. I use wax paper to ensure the that marshmallow pops don’t stick.
Why We Love This Recipe
Hands down, it’s super easy to make. It’s almost a shortcut recipe because you’re not baking anything and you’re just melting the white chocolate over the microwave. Serve these Mummy Marshmallow Pops at a halloween party, for a school party, a fall festival or as a yummy after-school treat.
White Chocolate vs. Candy Melts
White Chocolate is what you see photographed and it gives you the off-white appearance. I think using white chocolate makes your pops taste better. However, if you want to get a “pure white” marshmallow look, then you’ll want to use candy melts. Those will give you a nice bright white look.
How To Store Leftover Mummy Marshmallow Pops
If you have any leftovers, you can store them in an airtight food storage container and keep them in the refrigerator. They won’t melt and lose their shape in the refrigerator. Keep them to enjoy for 4-5 days for best freshness.
What You’ll Need:
- Square Marshmallows
- White Chocolate Chips or Bright White Candy Melts
- Candy Eyes
- Plastic Sandwich Bag
- Lollipop Sticks
How To Make Marshmallow Mummy Pops For Halloween
Start by adding two square marshmallows to the top of a lollipop stick. Be sure to leave enough room to hold the pop from the stick, on the bottom.
Melt your 2 cups white chocolate (or candy melts) according to package instructions, in the microwave, being sure to stir in-between. I usually melt mine in 30-second intervals.
Dip your marshmallow stick into the white chocolate until it’s fully coated. Repeat with all of your marshmallow sticks. Place it on a baking sheet covered with wax paper and refrigerate for 1 hour until hardened.
Place the extra 1/4 cup melted white chocolate in a plastic sandwich bag and cut the corner of the bag to mimic a piping bag. Drizzle the white chocolate over the top to create the mummy look. Repeat the process on all of them.
Add candy eyes over the drizzles lines, before it dries. Once the eyes are added, you can place the Marshmallow Pops back onto the cookie sheet and into the refrigerator. Serve them when you’re ready!
